Quilt Convention

I didn't quite know what to expect when we headed off to see my first Quilt Convention.  But I really enjoyed it! Just took a few photos of favourite quilts, some were modern....
Opal Essence by Lorena Uriarte
 Misdirection by Jess Frost
Don't mess with my rainbow by Michelle Law
and others were contemporary....

 Pointy Plates by Vicki Jenkin
Follywood by Susanne Cody

Boston Rhapsody by Janet Holland
and one favourite reproduction/traditional.....
Robins Nest by Karen Styles.
And of course we shopped til we dropped...well I did, my Mum was more restrained!
And then we drove home, and I started sewing to finish the last few things for our local exhibition!
Happy quilting, Sue.

  2. Glad you had a good time. There would have been so many wonderful quilts to feast over. I love shopping at quilt shows especially the bigger ones as you get to see products you may have never seen before. And fabric...well that is just plain fun to see and buy (if you want).

  3. Lovely quilts. I went to the Melbourne AQC last year and it was so much fun. Looks like you stocked up on enough goodies to keep you happy too!
